Art Course in Florence

In October, 2022 I went to Florence to do a once-in-a-lifetime six week intensive course in painting, drawing and art history at the Florence Academy of Att. I had wanted to learn classical realism for over thirty years but did not know where to go until I saw the work of a couple of the academy’s alumni and was very impressed. The course was well structured, organised and hard work. It exceeded my expectations. I produced four still lives and one portrait there, all of which are on my website. My aim is to incorporate the lessons I learnt there into my own work which will be consolidated after I have completed their second course later this year..
