Florence Academy of Art and other latest news and events from Naomi

From this July I am delighted to be showing with The Rutland Gallery in Uppingham, Rutland. ‘Lupins And Alliums’ (above) and ‘Iris’ (right) are currently displayed on the walls of the gallery together with a few smaller ones. All eleven paintings are listed on my Artists’ page on the gallery website and are all available to purchase from there as well as from the gallery.

The paintings are mostly still life with a couple of landscapes. The large paintings above and on the right are garden paintings which bridge the two genres.

Whether or Not (on the left) was inspired by my classical realism courses in Florence where we learnt the importance of values. Whatever the subject I want to celebrate life with colour and create attractive pictures which I hope enhance peoples’ lives.
